From a young age Shane displayed a passion for health and fitness. Growing up he excelled in Athletics, Swimming and Cross Country Training, representing his school in Districts. Shane was a keen Rugby player, playing the sport for 10 years.
Shane initially stumbled across CrossFit 5 years ago via his Personal Trainer. He was hooked from the start. The social aspect being a big reason, but also his competitive drive and seeing the personal changes and development each and every week.
Shane’s passion for coaching is driven by assisting and seeing athletes achieve their goals. Whether it’s getting their first pull-up or their first muscle up. He has a real drive and talent for teaching gymnastic progressions and techniques. He thrives on seeing athletes improve their efficiency in their movement, enabling them to go harder, or heavier.
