Through CrossFit I have developed a love for lifting and with the help of the coaches I have transitioned into powerlifting. “CrossFit 4165 is an amazing gym. At the age of 50 after trying every diet there was and loads of exercise DVD’s and failing, I decided to find myself a gym. After checking out three of the local gyms I made my decision. This is where my journey began. This is where I met my awesome trainer.

My first session was mainly boxing and I crawled out of the gym. After I got home I thought this is way too hard, but I thought maybe the next session won’t be as hard, (I was wrong). Over the next few weeks with the support, dedication and motivation from my trainer I started to look forward to my sessions. I started losing weight and felt healthier and fitter. I increased my sessions and added some group classes. After a couple of years the gym moved to a bigger place and introduced CrossFit and engaged more trainers, and CrossFit 4165 was formed.

They are always helpful and dedicated to helping you achieve your goals, whether it is weight loss, strength or maintaining. They are always willing to help you with any questions you may have about training, nutrition, goals, technique or anything else. They are able to cater to all ages from young to old and all different levels of fitness from beginner to advanced, and even those people who have specific limitations due to injury. CrossFit 4165 is a wonderful and friendly environment and I have made many new friends over the past few years.

CrossFit 4165 has changed my life to a much healthier and fitter one. It is part of my life now. I lost over 20kgs and have maintained my weight for the past 4 years and I would not have been able to achieve this without the dedication and the support of my trainer and all the people involved with CrossFit 4165. It has also shown me that I am capable of much more than I ever thought was possible.

“I just wanted to take some time out to say thanks for being so welcoming to your CrossFit. I’m still fairly new to world of CrossFit having only done it for 6 months so far and have just made the move from another box to 4165.

I was really nervous doing this as I’m not a confident person at all. I found everyone there so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The trainers are awesome and so encouraging through the workouts, especially while I’m still learning many of the movements and techniques. They take the time to explain the WOD and guide you where necessary. They push you when they know you’re capable of going harder or lifting heavier.
